The first annual Norway Triathlon will take place starting at 8:30 am on July 19, 2008 and will be headquartered at the Lake Pennesseewassee (Norway Lake) public beach and recreation area on Route 118 in Norway, Maine. The Norway Tri committee has decided to give this year’s Triathlon proceeds to WFLT’s Roberts' Farm Preserve project. Starting in the summer of 2009, the Norway Tri’s foot race will be held on the Preserve’s trails. WFLT is very thankful to the Norway Tri committee for their recognition of the importance of the Preserve within our community.
